the man behind the forum moderation:-

Background
Educated in Rotorua
Of Cook Island parents
Played 1st XV rugby for Rotorua Boys High School for 3 years
Played for the Wasps (Secondary School Rugby Team)
Played 1st XI cricket for Rotorua Boys High School for 4 years
Played for the Rotorua Colts Under 21 cricket team while at school
Played 2nd XI soccer for the school
Played table tennis
Attended Church
A member of Life Boys for many years
A member of the Boys Brigade for many years

At Otago University
Graduated from the school of Physical Education
Played social cricket
Played table tennis
Played Rugby League for Otago University for 3 years
Participated in ice climbing (and fell...!)

After the Fall
Started coaching
While in Christchurch coached basketball, softball and volleyball for 3 years

Moved to Rotorua - Western Heights High School
Taught Physical Education
Started coaching rugby and volley ball
Coached the 5th grade rugby team for 104 games before losing it's first game
Coached the 1st XV (with Dick Gordon sometimes) for 17 years
Coached the Volleyball team for many years with 7 National Championships
The team held the mantle of the top volleyball school in NZ for 15 years
Coached the NZ Junior Mens Volleyball Team
Coached the NZ University Mens Volleyball Team to win the World Student Games (Japan)
Assistant Coach to the NZ Mens Volleyball Team
Attended International Volleyball tournaments in Greece, Korea, Japan, Fiji, Australia, Kuwait, Indonesia and Thailand.

Training Teachers
Christchurch College of Education - Outpost Rotorua
Presently involved in training university graduates to become teachers
